Hellbrunn
Hellbrunn Palace and the world-famous trick fountains are unique and have hardly changed in nearly 400 years since their construction. At the trick fountains you experience the same fun that the builder of the complex, the Salzburg prince-bishop Markus Sittikus, gave to his guests around 1615.

Alpin water reservoir Kaprun

Sigmund Thun Gorge in Kaprun
It has only been possible since 1992 that the Sigmund-Thun-Klamm, one of the most beautiful gorges of its kind in the state of Salzburg, can be experienced in its full splendour again. It was closed in 1938 since the utilisation of water power in the valley of Kaprun seemed more interesting. Today, thanks to the initiative of a regional association, the gorge is open again.
